KATIE DOTSON

Owner, Coach

Katie is a former high school NCA All-American and All-Star cheerleader with one of the (still) premiere All-Star gyms. She won 3 National titles while competing - NCA, UCA and Cheer America. She has experience as an athlete and a coach - while at Baylor University Katie judged with NCA and coached two teams at an All-Star program in Waco, TX. She understands the life and demands of a competitive cheer athlete, both on and off the mat, and is passionate about fostering athleticism, teamwork, and personal growth with every athlete! Her mission is to provide a supportive and empowering space for all athletes to elevate their cheerleading skills while also developing life skills that extend beyond HCE.



RILEY CROSS

All-Star Director, Coach

Riley grew up in Austin doing competing at a high level of Allstar cheer, which began her lasting love for the sport. She spent 7 years doing competitive cheerleading, cheered all 4 years in high school at Regents, and finished up her cheerleading career on the All Girl squad at Baylor University. She brings an extensive knowledge of the sport, and will use her skills to help shape the all-star program at HCE to be the best it can be!

She is thrilled to be working at HCE!

Colbi DeWitt

Head Coach

Colbi is thrilled to join the HC Elite family! She cheered competitively for over 13 years and has been coaching cheer and tumbling for over 5 years. Colbi graduated from Ball State University in 2021 with a degree in marketing. After college she moved to Texas to be in the heart of the cheerleading industry and has loved her time here the past 4 years. With many titles from ACP Champion, Regional Summit Champion, and placing 4th at the Youth Summit this past year, Colbi is ready to get this season started!

KEISH JOHNSON

Head Coach

Keish has been a competive cheerleader for over 18 years. She has coached for numerous award-winning programs in both Florida and Texas, and has won many titles herself. She has been in Texas for the past 3 years, and is very excited to be coaching for HCE. She has a deep understanding of the sport, and focuses on drills and progressions to learn skills - and keep them.  We're so happy to have her on the team!

KATIE WALKER

Asst Team Coach

Katie grew up in Dripping Springs, cheering in school from 7th-12th grade. She gained an incredible sense of self, discipline, and determination within her cheer career here, and her goal with coaching cheer is to instill elements of respect, discipline, and confidence in our cheerleaders, while creating a fun and open space to be yourself and grow. Cheer is a sport, and she hopes to help push that forward in our young athletes at HCE.



heather duncan

Asst Team Coach

Heather is a former collegiate dance athlete with the Texas Aggie Dance Team and received a minor in dance from Texas A&M. She is the former assistant director for the Westlake Hyline Dance Team and has also coached Rec and Pre-Comp cheer for 5 seasons.  Her goal is to cultivate an environment of trust, teamwork, community and FUN while instilling self confidence, integrity, discipline and a love for the sport.

ABBY VARGA

Asst Team Coach

Abby started her cheerleading career in seventh grade and cheered through high school, where she was also a member of their competition team. Outside of school, she cheered at several All-Star gyms in Austin and competed on a large Co-Ed team. Abby went on to cheer at Texas Tech University for two years and was a member of their large Co-Ed competition team that competed at NCA Nationals in Daytona, Florida. 

She also worked as an NCA instructor for one summer after graduating high school in 2001. 

She has a passion for cheerleading and for pushing athletes to be the best that they can be. Helping athletes improve is such a joy to Abby and she looks forward to coaching at Hill Country Elite Cheer!

CHAYSE INGRAM

Asst Team Coach

I am so excited to join the HC elite cheer family! I have been a competitive cheerleader for seven years, and am still an athlete in the competition cheer world. I won collegiate nationals with Sam Houston State University in 2023 as well as other national titles over the years! I'm also currently on the Swooshcats, and we just got our bids to WORLDS!

I am a junior in college at Texas State, and am studying exercise and sports science! I really enjoy teaching this sport that I have so much passion for!

EMMA KRYSTOF

Asst Team Coach

Emma has been a Level 5 competitive cheerleader for many years, and is a member of the Blue Angels level 4 team. She's a senior at DSHS and a Varsity cheerleader. She's excited to be helping out with our teams, and loves being a part of HCE.
