All-Star Cheer Teams

NOVICE TEAMS

Ages: (Ages 6-10)

Our novice teams are competitive cheer teams that focus on the basics of cheer: jumps, basic tumbling, dance, perform motions in basic formations, and stunting fundamentals. This is great for athletes that haven't done all-star cheer before and are looking to get started.

Novice teams will compete in 2-3 local and semi-local competitions and will compete for ratings, not against other teams.

This is a fun, friendly and exciting way to introduce cheer to our young athletes. These teams will practice once a week for 1 hour in duration. Coaches may schedule additional practices before competitions as needed to ensure that the team is adequately prepared. They will wear the same practice wear, uniform and bow as our Prep and Elite teams.

PREP TEAMS

Ages: 6-13

Our prep teams follow the same scoring rubric as our elite teams, however they have a shorter routine and have a little more wiggle room in their skills for mastery.

Prep teams are perfect for athletes coming off of Novice teams, or athletes that need to firm up their technique and mastery of Elite tumbling and stunting skills.

Prep teams will compete in 4-5 local and semi-local competitions throughout the season (July-Mar) and practice for 1.5 hours/2x per week.

ELITE TEAMS

Ages: 7-19

Our Elite cheer teams are for athletes looking to train 2 days a week beginning in June and training through the end of the season (May). These teams will practice for 2 hours 2x/week, and have additional practices on weekends ahead of major competitions.  If you travel during the summer and are not able to commit to up to 5 hours weekly of training, this may not be the program you are best suited for. Additionally, we prefer athletes have at least 1-2 years on prep teams before joining our Elite teams. Our Elite program is highly competitive and athletes must attend ALL practices. Teams can only fully function and train routines with every athlete in attendance, so it is imperative that if you join an Elite team, it's your top priority.

We travel to 6-8 competitions per season, and if Summit bids are awarded we WILL travel to Florida to attend.
